What Swimmers Say

Since joining the squad sessions, Flynn has been incredibly focused on technique and has helped me make noticeable progress in my swimming. I highly recommend Precision Swimming to anyone looking to develop their skills and confidence in the water.
Brigitte W.
Flynn is an amazing instructor. He creates a relaxed and welcoming environment, making it easy to step outside your comfort zone while keeping the experience fun and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Esther S.
I had tried adult swimming lessons before but nothing came together until I had lessons with Flynn. He knows how to get you swimming efficiently, is patient and provides plenty of drills to practice in your own time.
Ben W.
Flynn creates a fun, supportive environment but also pushes you hard enough that you see real improvement and results. His sessions are always challenging but enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to training for some local races over summer with his guidance.
Andrew F.
I started beginner swim sessions with Flynn, who is professional and full of passion. Although it's a group class, he's always checking everyone's movements and giving tips individually. I've really learnt a lot and built some confidence in swimming now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Adults 18 and over, any age, any ability. The one requirement is that you can confidently swim around 200 metres of freestyle non-stop. Past that, we have people who swam competitively as kids, people who came back to it in their forties, and people training for open water and triathlon. You don't need to be fast to fit in.

No. Lanes are sorted by ability, so you're swimming with people at your own pace. If you can comfortably cover around 200 metres non-stop, you'll slot in fine.

Every session is different, but the shape stays the same. Warm-up and activation, a focus block on one skill or stroke, an aerobic main set, then a cool-down and a chat to finish. We move between strokes and use fins and training aids throughout. Bring bathers, goggles and a cap.

Tuesday 6:15pm, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 5:50am, and Saturday mornings at 8:00am.

Your first session is free. After that, the 14-Day Starter Pass is the best value if you already know you want to commit, since it's unlimited for two weeks. Otherwise there are casual single sessions or a 10-pack, and those credits never expire. You book each session through your dashboard and can cancel up to 24 hours out. Nothing is locked in, so you can pause or stop whenever. Just have a chat with Flynn. Pool entry is paid separately at the Rec Centre.

Yes. A lot of the aerobic work is aimed at people training for the Rottnest Channel Swim, the Busselton Jetty Swim, or a triathlon or Ironman. Squad is a quick way to build the endurance those events ask for.
